These doors are deceivingly large (40”x120” each) and were deceivingly difficult to build. These ones actually took me two tries. The first set failed after about 6 months but the second set are going strong for much longer than that.

Looks can be a little deceiving. These doors are actually 40” wide and 10’ tall! The veneer work in the panels was a fun new challenge too.

I had an awesome opportunity to work with @thirdandwindsordesign on this walnut pantry door with antique mirror. I couldn’t be happier with the results. It took about two months but I built a total of 5 of these door units. The biggest sets were 9’ tall and 2 1/4” thick and it’s amazing how much it slower the work goes at that scale.

The vast majority of windows I’ve built are for historic home. These particular sash were only about 20 years old but a poor finish application caused them to fail early. I’m pretty excited for the next set for this house. Thanks to @mttoolco for the insanely accurate wood glazing knives.

So spent about 2 1/2 months building 17 doors for an apartment in downtown #winterparkfl. I’m certain they don’t look like much but the minimalist look is one of the more difficult looks too pass off, not to mention all of the doors are 9 feet tall. This one pushed me to the limits based of size and timeframe. Huge shout out to @melanie.hayes.7543 for sanding a huge portion of these doors, cleaning all the doors after install and site protection to make sure they look great to this day. @lukesgarage91 for helping me build a third of the doors in just a few days and @hogeathog for helping with the delicate tasks on installing all theses doors without a scratch. This is part two in my walnut vanity series. This is a double sink vanity that also houses a steam unit for the shower behind the drawers. It is built in such a way that the steam unit can be accessed easily by removing the drawers.
